Helpful Tips On Cleaning Your Enclosure Windows!
Friday, April 1st, 2011
There is a fast and easy way to make your plastic windows clear again. Start by wiping off any excess dirt and dust with a damp cloth. Next you need to get some car wax. We recommend Turtle Wax because it is affordable and it works just as well as the expensive brands. Pour some wax on your plastic window. Start with a drop slightly bigger then a townie and you can always use more if its a bigger window. You want to use a cloth that has a soft texture, like a old bed sheet or something so that it does not scratch the plastic. Now you are just going to polish the plastic like you would a car, with a circular motion. You might have to rub a little harder on the scratches, but if they are not too deep then they will polish out. When you are polishing the windows you want to me careful not to get any of the wax on the material because it may stain depending on the material.(Sunbrella, Coast Guard, etc) Now just polish the window with a dry cloth and repeat on the other side. If your window Still wont clean up or if the damage is too deep in the plastic. Then just give us a call and we can replace the window.
